In the manufacturing process, the low-pressure cold-shrinkable terminal uses elastomer materials (commonly used silicone rubber and ethylene propylene rubber) to be injection-vulcanized in the factory, and then expanded and lined with plastic spiral supports to form components of various cable accessories. During installation, these pre-expansion pieces are sleeved at the treated cable ends or joints, the plastic spiral strips (supports) supported internally are pulled out, and the cable accessories are formed by pressing them on the cable insulation.

Compared with traditional heat shrinkable cable terminals, low-voltage cold shrinkable terminals have the following advantages:
